For Tenants: Know Your Rights

These trainings are for groups of tenants and provide an introduction to Ontario housing law. Trainings are designed to be participatory and build on the audience’s existing knowledge.

For Service Providers: Housing Law Training

These trainings are intended for professionals who work with tenants and have some existing knowledge of housing law, and who are seeking to grow their knowledge about tenant rights to be better able to support their clients. The trainings are participatory and designed to build on the audience’s existing knowledge.

For Housing Workers: Intensive Training

This training covers key components of effective rights-based approaches to delivering housing, presented in an engaging, plain language format that includes interactive activities including breakout rooms and Q & As. Activities will draw on real experiences of housing workers and give attendees the opportunity to practice new skills gained.

For Housing Workers: Ontario Housing Law Certificate Program

This comprehensive training program is delivered in an engaging, plain language format that includes interactive activities including breakout rooms, scenarios, and question and answer formats. Activities will draw on real experiences of housing workers and provide attendees the opportunity to practice new skills gained.
