Description: This comprehensive training program is delivered in an engaging, plain language format that includes interactive activities including breakout rooms, scenarios, and question and answer formats. Activities will draw on real experiences of housing workers and provide attendees the opportunity to practice new skills gained.

- Human rights in housing including the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
- Security of tenure how to promote healthy tenancies and prevent eviction.
- Ontario Landlord and Tenant Board, it’s processes and procedures.
- Rent-geared-to-income tenancies and Ontario Housing Services Act
- Strategies to support residents with complex needs and navigating tough tenancy situations
- Best practices to support tenants experiencing gender-based violence in housing.
